Lore & Background
The interior of the Tyrell Corporation Headquarters is divided into distinct levels. Lower floors contain the genetic engineering facilities where replicant components are manufactured. The upper levels feature Tyrell's private office, a large room with high ceilings and a desk where he meets with visitors. In the film, Deckard is escorted through the building to meet Tyrell, who is seated behind his desk with an owl perched nearby. The atmosphere is described as warm and golden, contrasting with the dark, rainy streets outside. After Tyrell's death, the building is left abandoned, its lights extinguished.
In Their Own Story
Deckard arrives at the Tyrell Corporation Headquarters to administer the Voight-Kampff test to Rachael. He is led through the building's corridors to Tyrell's office, where Tyrell explains that Rachael is a Nexus-7 replicant with implanted memories. Later, Roy Batty uses J.F. Sebastian to gain access to the building, ascending to Tyrell's sanctum. There, Roy confronts Tyrell, who calls him his 'prodigal son' and tells him his life cannot be extended. Roy then kills Tyrell and Sebastian before leaving the building.
